More performance in the tool room! This could be the slogan at Amper-Plastik since July 2019. For with the C250 machine from the Hermle Performance-Line the Dachau-based company invests in a brand-new milling and boring centre and thereby modernizes the internal tool shop. A further high-tech machine made-in-Germany, and element of the corporate strategy of manufacturing more precision injection tools in-house. A long-term goal consequently pursued over several years.

The C250 enjoys a high reputation among the tool makers. For good reason. Characterized by its modified gantry setup the vertical machine allows for high-precision processes in a big working space. Through its robust and vibration-reducing mineral composite machine base die plates with a mass of up to 1,100 kg can be handled on the rigid clamping table. The integrated tool changer with 30 magazine pockets facilitates a flexible production – with a very short tool changing cycle of only 6 seconds from cut to cut. Last but not least the high-tech machine is equipped with the latest TNC 640 control unit by Heidenhain. This combines an optimized motion control with quick data processing and a modern well-arranged user interface. In short: a machining entre with high precision, flexibility, and enormous speed.

Advantages, all customers of Amper-Plastik take benefit from. For with the C250 a faster and more economical machining of machine parts becomes reality. Keyword: more material removal in a shorter time. And on top improved work piece surfaces and a higher contour accuracy on 3D-geometries are guaranteed.

Amper-Plastik sets a mark in tooling. And all colleagues responsible for the machining are looking forward to the work with the new entrant – the high-precision C250 milling machine.
